Here's my BEST guess: Half Life 2 = $50 Half Life 2: Collecter's Edition (CD) = $65 Half Life 2: Collecter's Edition (DVD) = $75 Personally, for the game alone, I'd easily pay up to 70 dollars, and easily up to 90 for the collecter's edition.

Well, if there is absoulutely no difference except for changing CD's during installation, I'll stick with the CD version. If there are less load times or something, time to buy a DVD drive.

I'd have to agree with jat about the story thing. At the end of Half Life 2, I suspect that there will be a catastrophic thing that happens, and then it will fade to black and end with some cool music. That way, Half Life 3 will be highly anticipated.
