Half-Life 2 officially delayed officially sucks.....talk about dangle a carrot in front of you and then take it away!!! Why wait until now to say its delayed?.....I want to hear more from Valve about why.....

I think its a pretty safe bet we won't see it before Sept 30th...And yeah Men Behaving Badly is distracting and amazingly funny!!!!

I asked Gameplanet about their release date....like the man said "playing it safe" This will hopefully be just conjecture in a little over a week anyway......

I think I will wait until Sept 30th(supposed to be worldwide release) before I start getting worried about a Christmas HL2 release.....and if it is the case someone is bound to ship copies in from overseas. Whatever you do don't say the D word...... Optimistic NZ gamer.

Yes,you will only need to update HL2 through steam....Valve has said that everything you need for online play etc will be packaged with the retail versions...........

I was playing on a BF1942 server the other day and just posed a quick question about HL2 release and no one had even heard about the game let alone a release date.......weird?!?!

Can't see any reason why not...Suppose to be "Worldwide" and NZ isn't so much the "Back of Beyond" anymore!!! (at least with some things)
