well, i hope at least gaming sites are gonna post more benchmark results! i just wanna know how my system is gonna perform playing the game.
otherwise, i think it's a bad idea valve's not releasing the BM earlier to the public.
Para: no i never said i used psp9, commando did:
but i DO use psp8, so i thought the resizing feature would probably be the same. but i said "when using psp9" to... like, 'comfort' commando, since he's familiar with the program.
STILL, if it's not out yet, let's forget about this stuff...
i've never used psp9 before, just started using psp8. i know the loading sucks and somehow i get tons of other errors... but it's got some nice new effects and brushes.
i used the warp brush on the attached pic. :D
but first check out the original:
(BTW: i'm the guy in the middle. :) )
yeah but you see, that is NOT the way to do it. :)
when using psp9: first resize the pic in percentages, keeping length and width the same. when it's small enough, select the entire pic and 'push' it into the upper left corner. now canvas size the pic to 50x50. just experiment a little with...
SPITTY!
here's a good pic for you.
those pixels make my eyes hurt. :x
(sorry for posting so much within 1 thread... but i couldn't add the attachment by editing my last post. at least it's better than making a new topic for everything i say... *hint* )
actually, i DID!
paint's resize function is pretty good, but your your pic should be quite large to make it work.
oh and also: never use resize more than once. it ****s up the pic.
first find a cool pic. ;)
then use an image editing app like photoshop, paint shop pro or even M$ paint to resize your image. or even better: DON'T resize the image, the quality is best at that point.
ummm well that sorta does the trick.
well it WOULD be cool if your allies had flying transportation as well! :bounce:
though i guess since they are kinda being kept prisoned by the combine and all, they won't have such things...
i think it's really cool when you think of it, actually. since bullets can be stopped in air, guns don't make much sense anymore. the only way to kill someone is by doing so in a fist fight.
hey i noticed this shacknews preview of Half-Life 2:
http://www.shacknews.com/extras/e_halflife_2/
it seems it's pretty old since they say they're looking forward to E3.
but i had never read the part where they describe what gameplay they've seen.
it's somehow different from scenes that...
the poster on the far right kinda looks like the interior of the Combine Citadel.
compare the attachment with this picture:

to me HL2 is like an overdose of coolness...
it's gonna be hard when i'll have to decide what to do once i have the game installed. i guess i'll be staring at the monitor for at least 30 minutes.
hmmm aren't games just ALL about entertainment?
i mean... such discussions are so useless since the liking of/looking forward to a game depends a lot on taste and... perspective.
i'm not sure why i'm posting this, since it doesn't contribute that much to the original topic... but i just...
