How do i get picture by name?

well go to your profile man, then at the bottom it should say somethin about an avator.

next to the avator will be a browse. the browse will show you all the pic files you have in ur comp.

i think the avator pic has to be like 50x50 pixels.

so jus pic any pic u want to use, edit it on your comp to 50x50pixels, save is somewhere you will remember. go to your profile on here, scroll to avator part, click on browse and find where you saved your pic. click on the pic and then jus click on the DONE or watever it is and there u have it! :)

Well at least @bel didn't use paint to edit the pic, jeez so many pixels I could actually count them spitty!

first find a cool pic. ;)
then use an image editing app like photoshop, paint shop pro or even M$ paint to resize your image. or even better: DON'T resize the image, the quality is best at that point.
ummm well that sorta does the trick.

actually, i DID!
paint's resize function is pretty good, but your your pic should be quite large to make it work.
oh and also: never use resize more than once. it ****s up the pic.

SPITTY!
here's a good pic for you.
those pixels make my eyes hurt. :x

(sorry for posting so much within 1 thread... but i couldn't add the attachment by editing my last post. at least it's better than making a new topic for everything i say... *hint* )

nice thanks. yea i use paint shop pro 9. resized it to 50x50 once and looks like

yeah but you see, that is NOT the way to do it. :)
when using psp9: first resize the pic in percentages, keeping length and width the same. when it's small enough, select the entire pic and 'push' it into the upper left corner. now canvas size the pic to 50x50. just experiment a little with those commands.
but it's a lot easier in paint. :D
and i'm NOT gonna tell you how to do that!

(yay i'm a zombie! :farmer:)

True, simple, easy to use no fancy crap and eats the bare minimum in resources, PSP 8 however is a monster: even with a gig of ram it takes time to load.

i've never used psp9 before, just started using psp8. i know the loading sucks and somehow i get tons of other errors... but it's got some nice new effects and brushes.
i used the warp brush on the attached pic. :D
but first check out the original:

(BTW: i'm the guy in the middle. :) )

@bel you did say in a previous you use psp 9, but I'm guessing it's a typo since psp 9 isn't out yet hah! : )

Para: no i never said i used psp9, commando did:

but i DO use psp8, so i thought the resizing feature would probably be the same. but i said "when using psp9" to... like, 'comfort' commando, since he's familiar with the program.
STILL, if it's not out yet, let's forget about this stuff. commando probably made a typo.

so, what do you think of my pic? :D

Hehe @bel

Mine looks like yours except it's anime.
I just basically resize my images in photoshop.
