That I actually photoshopped my desktop to include a fake icon for HL2. I did this so the next time I find one of those Post your desktop threads on the other forums I post at I can confuse everyone, that and I want my friends to try and double click on it, even though it's not a real icon. Yes...
Boy there are some pathetic ATi fanboys floating around these boards. Gabe did not say it was better, he said he was using one of their cards, the 9800 Pro. DirectX 9 doesn't mean anything, because there are several nVidia cards which support it as well. And what the hell is the point of...
I started Half-Life again recently, and the first time you see one of those headcrab zombies, Barney begins to shoot it. I didn't make it in time with my crowbar, and the zombie killed Barney. Then I crowbarred the zombie, and the dead Barney on the ground starts flapping his lips and says...
I bought Blue Shift which included Opposing Force so I don't have that handbook ;(

I jumped ahead of myself. I know there are scripted sequences within the game, but what I meant to say was all of those things, the barrels hitting the pegs, the swinging beam, none of the are scripted into the...
A lot of people like to share comments on games that aren't out yet at amazon, and normally I like to read what crap people spit out about new games, so today I decided to look up HL2. The first review caught my eyes immediately, here it is:
Half-Life 2 will revolutionize the PC gaming...
I'm sick of everyone bashing nVidia now that they're scared they won't be able to do FSAA on Half-Life 2. They're GREAT CARDS. In my mind nVidia is still king, the 5900 kicks the 9800's ass with AF and AA on.
