HL2 on HL1

ok we all had fun with that HL2 tech demo map on hl1. what i want to know is why hasent there been more hl2 maps on hl1 made. there fun as hell and funny. it isent that hard. anyone know anyone that could make more?

Forgive me for sounding noobish but how do I load the map after I install it into the map directory. Also do I need to do anything with the .wad and the other files?
