I have a scan of it in case you want proof. Just list your e-mail in this thread and I'll send it.
I'm not sure about Game Informer's biases (if they have any) so I don't think I can really comment on the Halo 2 review at this point. Suffice it to say they think it's amazing:
A favorite...
I don't know how much I want to believe what their definition of scary is, seeing how a game called "Tony Tough and the Night of Roasted Moths" is also on their list. Shiver me timbers!!!
I also like how it seems my voting didn't seem to matter at all. I'm in Washington state and they have just begun counting the ballots here. Because of the electoral college it doesn't matter what our numbers are. Feels great to be a part of the system! Go out and be somebody!
To start---the first source game you're going to buy will be Bloodlines? Does that mean you're not going to buy HL2? Cause that's definetely coming out before Bloodlines.
Actually just a few days ago I got re-interested in Bloodlines. Their recent press event in LA and the subsequent...
slyz do you guys have any ideas so far as to how big a part physics will play in your maps (i.e. large objects in enough quantity to allow lots of manipulator fragging)?
Also do you plan on including vehicles into any of the maps, or because this is DM are you strictly focusing on smaller...
I wonder if Valve have multiple encryption methods for the game files. Perhaps they could apply a completely different one just to the amount of files used for the sneak peak level? That way the other game files would be in a different encryption format and it wouldn't allow the loading of anything.
Well it wouldn't really be a demo...since it's part of a larger cache of files already on one's comp. Like I said...'sneak peak'. And it's not like they'll be releasing it over Fileplanet. Only Steam. Plus didn't they release a sneak peak of the original to the gaming press? Can't remember the...
I know this would take Valve some extra time...but seeing as how they're done with the game atm, I bet it wouldn't be that difficult to achieve. What if they allowed those who've ordered the game on Steam the chance to play the first level (trainstation) or couple levels as a sneak peak before...
Wow now that's a dedicated 56 k'er. Congrats man. If I were you I'd probably have tossed the computer onto the mailman's head by now. That's cool for stickin' with it. You certainly deserve the game now!
Agreed. Everyone bashed him because they thought he was being pessimistic and anti-Valve, when he in fact knew everything he was talking about.
You have to admit that his attitude was just a tad less than professional at times. His whole demeanor was along the lines of 'people should be...
Well short of soliciting illegal activities we can't really help you, sorry. Unless of course you're referring to the 'fake' review at Something Awful. In that case try using a different internet browser other than the one you're running currently. Maybe that will help.
