I also like how it seems my voting didn't seem to matter at all. I'm in Washington state and they have just begun counting the ballots here. Because of the electoral college it doesn't matter what our numbers are. Feels great to be a part of the system! Go out and be somebody! :thumbs:

I'm in Australia too but I care more about the American election than the Melbourne Cup yesterday.
I mean how can you not care about the election of what is the powerful man in the world and our closest ally?

Well according to http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/3976843.stm there is only two points between them at the moment and I trust the BBC infinitely more than I trust Fox who contributed to Bush's theft in 2000. A commercial news network? Having an agenda? Surely not!?
If you call the re-election of a war-mongerer who was buggered your economy good news well fair play to you, but our opinions on good leadership of a nation clearly differ incredibly.

But yeah, huzzah for HL2 in two tuesdays' time.
