i reckon you should be able to blow it's legs off so it falls over, that'd be cool. but if you pack a gauss gun and a rocket launcher, you'd take it down fairly easily.
i'm more interested in the story and plot than anything else about the game, but it will have a fair share of blasting and puzzle solving, just look at traptown, all those secrets of 'nading crates to fall on people and so on, i think the maps will be riddled with little nifty things like that...
amen, can't wait for the game, and let's hope we'll get to see some juicy stuff from E3... which should be going on right atm if it's 10:30pm here in australia, or am i completely wrong?
if the AI was top notch in half life1, then obviously it can only get better than that. i find it quite intimidating to hear that enemies will climb ladders in order to hunt you down. back in half-life1 they were too dumb to do that so when yo were a level above them you were safe, this will...
i remember in Morrowind the day/night sequences were superbly done. it didn't seem to slow the computer down as dawn went to midday to dusk smoothly and the sun would rise, and go down... i thought it was rather splendid with the night sky packed with pretty stars and small clouds :D
first i'll start it off with richard strauss - introduction, then move onto wagner - ride of the valkyries.
when i get a good game, i need those proper classical tunes to get me pumping, i doubt it'd listen to any music ingame, because it would spoil the hl2 music and the theme. but perhaps...
i believe it's still arguable, in the tunnels hl movie, the combines say something like 'hey you' or 'stop' or something i do believe that they're working FOR the aliens, so they might be part alien but prodominantly human, except for them having gills and not lungs hah aha
hahaha damn russkies, i reckon the plot is just acheezy rip off of the c old war, there actually aren't any aliens, tehyt're all the work of those ruskies and their experiements in chernobyl :P hahaha
