I didn't even hear the hype or buy HL when it came out. I got a ...errr demo of it. Then I was like wow. This is pretty cool. Then I went out and got OP4. Had to go get HL aswell after that. Then all's well.

You gotta realise that Valve adds stuff to imerse you . They won't spend all their time making ragdolls anatomicly correct (bad spelling*). If it adds to the game they put it in but most of the time don't go over the top on anything. Gore isn't over the top, ragdolls arn't over the top...
