Well you can have good system with Via chipsets. I think they have done well for the people that I made less expensive computers for. Also I don't dislike your computer, but you might have a flaw in your purchasing. Other people probably noticed it but your cpu is designed to run at a 333...

By following the method in you post my Steam Id is 4304.

A 9600 pro is a dx9 card. It will be able to do it all on the hardware. I am not sure if this is making sense since I haven't had to much sleep recently waiting for the Steam release.
