lol, you really don't know what's been going on, do you?
well, here, read some of these: http://anandtech.com/video/showdoc.html?i=1863

those 2 should be enough for now, i especially like how indepth and insightful the anandtech...
i would suggest you go over to newegg and buy the Allied 500w for $69, me and my friend both bough Allied 400w and have been very happy, Allied makes great power supplies, but not many people know of them, they assume they are a no name company. also i think that 500w has 2 LED fans
TBH, i'm VERY pissed at nvidia
it was false advertising, no other way around it. they created drivers that would artificially boost their scores in synthetic benches like 3dmark03 that became so prevalent, far beyond the actual, real game capabilities of the card, then sold these scores as...
yeah, that's mainly for servers and heavy duty rendering, though for the really big rendering jobs, you usually have to get a rendering farm of a few computers working together, and sometimes even that can take hours and i've even heard days
not so, Doom 3 is openGL and they had to create a special codepath for it so it could render high level shaders in Doom 3 at a reasonable frame rate, lowering the color precision to 16bit and even 12bit integer in some places, the difference here is that it doesn't come with all the other DX 9...
yeah, people always complain about how ugly it is, especially in those newegg product pics, but in person, the thing is very nice, especially with alot of nice lighting like i got
it also has GREAT functionality. theren's no sharp edges, it's got one of the best mobo mounting systems i've...

you can't really see it in the pic, but i also have a Vantec Iceberg 4 on that 9800 Pro that lights up nice...
no, the SE is a budget 9800 with half the pixel pipelines
and if was an SE, they should have advertised it as such, they are very different products, unlike the 9800 Pro and 9800 Non Pro, where the difference is only clock speeds, there are architectural changes in the SE that lower it's...
in fact, it does suck as much as other DX 9 games
while Doom 3 is not DX 9, it does use high level shaders, in fact, using the pixel shader 2.0 standard
during development of Doom 3, they found it necessary to write a special codepath for nvidia cards that used partial precision and even...
