ooo, ignorant complainers entertain me well. if you cant afford to upgrade from 3-5 year hardware then you need to stop whining. software technology moves forward and valve still is nice enough to take a step back and support the lower end hardware.

in windows wireless manager it should choose the right encryption for you. in other software like dells wireless manager, you have to make sure that the encryption is set right for your connection or it wont connect. what kind of router do you have? seems like its being overloaded.
