Firefox is not storing my log-in details for forums and social sites

[edit] Doesn't matter, managed to find the solution, the remember passwords was toggled off for some reason

This has only happened recently but everytime I enter a social site or forum I have to retype my log-in everytime to use the site. Now I never had to do this but has happened recently.

Is there a way of retaining this data on my comp?

I have cookies enabled but still doen't keep the log-in details on my comp.

Interestingly enough, I've had "remember passwords" checked but Firefox still likes to forget my cookies. It can be annoying on restarts.

Check your Cookies settings under Preferences > Privacy. I have third-party cookies disabled. Damn tracking cookies!

Also make sure you're not clearing your cookies when you close Firefox (Settings > Privacy > Private Data > Settings...).

Yeah, I thought that was my problem when I initially editted my earlier post, but it looks like its not solving the problem, BAH!

Maybe I should use IE again then send the cookies gained over to FF

i believe it only copies your bookmarks.
