Start menu in the lower left corner of your screen, depending on your OS,in vista you can type "run" in the search bar, in xp and lower it should be in the start menu
you must have wrote the cd key down incorrectlly or mistaken a letter or number for something else.
as far as i know, ive never had a key that only works on one piece of hardware.
So he installed a new motherboard, didnt format the hard drive?
Im surprised it would even boot up to windows. Usually different chipsets will give an error at boot.
umm even the oem cds have a cd key though....how can he find the cd key if one was never inputed? He said he lost it, the 30 day trail period ended, which assumes he didn't enter the key in and activate it. You will need to buy a new copy of windows.

Left click the wireless connection, hold ctrl then right click on the lan connection. Click bridge connections, it should create a new connection in your network connection.
1. Ram is way to low to run windows 7 and a game at the same time.
2. GMA 3150 can do alot of new shader effects and things like that but paired with that processor you wont get any decent performance out of spore.

some routers can be picky with different authentications. i have a dlink DIR-655. for N to work, i had to use WPA2-TSK or PSK. i could use WPA, but i would only get g signal. but i recommend just messing with different security settings and that may get it to work.
the router and the ISP address will never be the same, so stop worrying about it already. By default a router should assign an ip address that is 192.168.0.1-192.168.199, it will never assign the same ip address to the same computer or you will have conflicts with one or the other.

its possible, i would bet its the psu though. even if it was a memory issue, it would still post, and of course with a few beeps. those light switches meant for lights only are really nasty, would recommend using a different outlet so it wont occur again.
