Yup, Steam needs to be updated severely. Its supposed to launch the next HUGE version of Natural Selection, and supposedly SvenCoop as well. That was 3-4 weeks ago. What the hell are they doing?! I used to love valve, but its starting to irritate even the fanboy I am.
If they cant even...
Now, here is a fairly detailed version of the story, but I am only able to tell it like this cause I have now beaten Half-Life twice on each difficulty (half of them on PS2, other on PC).
Gordon arrives late to a large experiment on a foriegn crystal that nobody seems to want to tell you...
Ah, I loved Tribes 2! The only game I have found that you could see your own body/feet in. I liked having juggernaught armor and even being able to see your heavily armored chest.
Oh, they CAN legally do it. It is within their power if they put taht info in the EULA :D
muaahaha
And the downloaders are jerks as well. Screw them all. They broke the law, they should pay. Don't try to defend them.
Seems everyone here has thrown in their 2 cents, accumulating to a couple million dollars, but here goes mine. The damage has been done. There is next to nothing that can be done.
But what if there was a way to get the dl'ers money AND screw them over? How about have a system checker...
crabcakes, he has a point... to a point. Lots of people who purchased a 9800 for HL2 are gonna be pissed. Not me, I've had my 9700, and even if I bought a 9800 I would be happy as it would crush all graphics in the big games I play.
Nice man, but seriously, who goes around dressing up as a combine soldier?
Not me, I don't do that thing.
I dress up as Freeman swinging a REAL crowbar around at the jerks that don't give me candy!
Simply put, Valve could make the virus out of a programmer's house, send it out through kazaa (name it something like HL2 LEVEL FOR SOURCE CODE) and voila! No more source code!
Of course, if I were them, I would do it then blame it on some helpful fan (unknown person of course)
