Fileshack is a web download source just as fileplanet or filefront. It is my personal favorite though.
Anyway, Steam uses a closed server system, so only Valve certified material can really move through it, besides maps and models for the games...
Those 4 boxes were shown at E3 when Half-Life 2 was officially announced. As far as we know, those are final, as I believe noe of the VALVe guys confirmed. But anything can change....
I want the silverish one. It is most likely the Special Edition :)
If it goes gold this week, don't forget to schedule in a chunk of time of watching the guy over at planethalflife.com handing out copies in a Freeman suit. Just watch out though, he might go for the complete look with a crowbar.
I don't know what the hell you guys are thinking, the PS2 is just as capable of handling Half-Life as your X-Box. X-Box might just load the levels a bit faster, and that is as far as the difference would go.
There is a mod forum for this. Creative story though, but I gotta say I hate that Japanesse style of name. How about Tim Tonka or Brian Bunsen. Something..... normal?
BWMaster has some good ones, but he isn't the only great artist here. Common dude, get off your lazy ass and use the search feature. It is perfect for that sort of search.
I will be purchasing the DVD special edition, if it comes out the same day as regular, in a store. If somehow I am misinturpreting Valve and I won't be able to play multiplayer, I would be pissed. But from what I understand, you can 1) Go to a store and buy the whole thing 2) Purchase just SP...
Back in the good old days of Red Alert 2, I was fortunate enough to run a major RA2 website. Westwood Studios gave free copies to nearly every major RA2 website of the expansion pack, Yuri's Revenge, days before it was officially released. Best of all, they were free :)
I don't have that...
FYI: The actual name of Half-Life 2's engine is SOURCE. Havok, an engine designed specifically with physics in mind, was liscensed and built upon. It is barely viewable as Havok now, since so much additions and changes have been made.
Anyway, I think HL2 will win, but I don't care. I will...
Login_Here is correct, and it really sucks. I want my custom skins so bad :( My models folder alone for 1.5 is like 88mb. A standard install is like 15, lol. Not a big difference, but it KILLS loadtimes on even big machines.
I love my custom collection :)
They already said there was one, but I doubt they will have preordering on it.
Besides, I am gonna pick one up over anything else if I see it in stores!
