Yeah...thanks, Spitty. I was thinking of posting a similar link (via blues). Release is scheduled for 2004...or before DNF (heh).
In terms of graphics, it will be revolutinary, but the gameplay will be fairly basic.
HL2 has the one-two punch of revolutionary graphics AND gameplay.

Nothing gets the board together faster than a crowd of whiny MAC users.
No offense, but it's the truth. If you want to play games on your computer get a PC. If you have a highend MAC, then no doubt you have some sort of emulator. Use it.
I'm not sure this nuance has been covered or not.
It >would< make sense though. If true, I'm sticking with plan B: suscribe to the steam version until the special edition comes out on the shelves.
Plan A, of course, is that it will be on US shelves on the 30th and I buy the thing...

And my hard drive crashed.
Me too. I'm definately willing to shell out ten bucks to play HL2 before it's released in stores. If looks like it won't come down to that for folks here in the states though.
No. On shelves on the 30th. It sounds like Valve has no control over the shelf release dates for the UK and Europe (and guessing the rest of the world outside the US). From what I can gather (uh), they are aiming for the 30th as the U.S. shelf release date.
They are also offering it via...
