Going to a large lan is better imo.. if we have a seperate one and 30 people say their comming and only 5 show.. then that is gonna suck where on the other hand theres still thousands of other players..

Hey I'm gonna be purchasing a laptop for taking to LAN events in the next few months.. It'll also be used for tasks like web surfing and multimedia aswell so would like it to be decent.. The games I wanna play are stuff like cs:s, tf2, l4d, ut3 etc I was looking at the asus g71.. Any good...

I would be willing to help organize it.. Just need people to turn up.. Or as I proposed. Go to a iseries LAN or something?

Would any other forum members be up for a lan party? We could go to an orginized event or have our own somewhere.. Anyone interested? Obviosly funding would be an issue but with enough interest im sure it wont be a problem..

This thing that sucks at the mo is that most servers are filled with idiots who arnt about teamwork and more about being idots.. Hopefully we'll see UK/US servers pop up soon and the tides will turn.. I doubt it though..
