Yes it will, I have a friend with P4 2400 mhz, 256 MB ram and the same graphics card as you, it runs okey with everything on low and some things on medium at 1024*768. In Direct X 8.1, of course.

Normal for me, hard if it's too easy. I hate games where you can pick up the biggest gun and just run into hords of enemies, I like to go slow and take it easy, take cover behind objects and fire when my enemy is realoading.

Yeah, get a 9800 PRO, caus your card isn't even a Direct X 9 card. I have a friend with a TI 4200, and he can run CS: S with everything on low, no AA, no AF and in DX8.
