Got mine on pre-order, purely because I've always loved the MoH series. I couldn't give two shits whether it's similar to MW2 or BC2 or whatever, I know I'm going to enjoy it, especially the SP campaign.
So, I still haven't got around to playing it .. even though I've had it since Thursday. My plans to have a good session last night got foiled by the temptation of alcohol in what was a lovely, sunny, evening!
Now I'm back at Work until 19:00 again :(
My copy arrived yesterday. Didn't get a chance to play it after Work though, so managed to fit in about 10-15 minutes worth of play on Free Roam before Work this morning ... now I'm contemplating telling my boss I have some sort of rare, contagious disease.
I enjoyed the previous F.E.A.R games, so no doubt I'll be entertained by this one. That live action trailer, or whatever you want to call it, was absolutely terrible though.
It's almost enough to make me re-install my Laptop with Ubuntu or something, though I don't think Steam alone will cut it for me. May just do it on a spare HDD to have a mess around.
I've found that their response times vary a lot!
In the past, I've had to wait days for an initial response. Where as other times they have replied reasonably quickly (quickly being within 24 hours or so for them).
Completely different.
It may seem like a similar style of gameplay, by which you have to respond to the buttons that appear on-screen within a certain amount of time, however in Farenheit, if you messed up the combination then the game would end, whereas in Heavy Rain it actually affects the...
I was working a night shift when people were trying to decode everything. Totally forgot about it all and only just read the news on this!
Can't wait, though if I'm honest, I've never even bothered to complete Portal myself, sat there and watched a friend run through all of it. Think I'll...
Indigo Prophecy A.K.A Farenheit 9/11 - 9/10
Never got around to playing this when it was first released and after seeing plenty of awesome trailers for Heavy Rain, I thought I'd get it off of Steam for about £6.99.
Was amazed at how brilliant this game started off, rarely do I find myself...
I'll definitely be getting this, though I was a little worried about the whole change to third person etc, as I loved the first two. After reading several reviews though, I'm sure I'll love it.
Not too sure whether to get it on PS3 or 360 now though.
I loves Dekstar!
On another note. The Multiplay lans have gone downhill to be fair. The only decent one they host now has to be StratLAN. Last decent LAN I went to though would probably be LeachLAN, always prefered the smaller ones over the Iseries.
Really looking forward to it. I can't remember when I last touched the first one, just don't find it that entertaining anymore. It'll definitely be nice having some fresh content!
Half-Life 2: Episode 2 - Felt so sad after the end scene, literally just sat there and stared at the monitor in shock.
Bit of Final Fantasy VII also made me a little sad.
There's probably more, but I can't remember them off the top of my head right now.
