    Question about lifting...

I'm guessing that bench is in lbs! anyway that's not anything bad mate especially if you've taken time off. Just stick to weights you can succesfully do, don't feel you have to lift a certain amount for your pride, you'll look more of a dick if you're struggling with a weight you can't...

    New Planet Discovered

Actually reaching the speed of light? As a crude simple acceleration of a craft prob never as it requires infinite energy. Some technology that allows you to bend space, alcubierre drive etc, would take massive amounts of energy and would be most likely be a long while off yet, if at all...

Woman shoots rare albino deer ..because it was a rare albino deer

Well, if any deer deserves to die it's an albino. Being white is not a good survival feature for a deer.

    Logic Problem

No. What you are trying to tell me there is that a 12" dia foam ball will fall the same speed as a 12" cannon ball in atomosphere, which it clearly dosn't They both have very different terminal velocities.

    Logic Problem

If you were doing the experiment in a vacuum, yes. That's why i asked if the ball was of the same size and thus more or less dense than the others. A less dense ball would have less force but the same air resistance and therefore accelerate slower.

I think I have, "The Shining" ability.

So how do you know when a dream is predicting the future? You'll only know when it 'comes true', mabye you have a genetically inherited trait to have a lot of dreams and the likelyhood of them becoming roughly true is high. Just say i had a dream about getting in a fight, and then a week...

    Logic Problem

Is the oddball the same physical size as the other balls, i.e it has a different density? if it is then you could drop them all at exactly the same time and observe the ball that either hits the ground first or last, giving an indication of which is the oddball and if it is lighter or heavier...

    Big bike accident

Ouch, you're lucky tho could have been much worse at 60... That's a lot of the problem with bike accidents, luck, you could come off at 80 and live with a few grazes if you skid right or you could come off at 10mph and go under a lorry a car accidents severity tends to be more predictable on...

    Need some Airsoft advice

I have two MAC 11's, they are fun when used together but completely useless tactically (as you would expect) They are great singly used in CQB, room clearing as it's so compact and high ROF. In a forest against AEG's it's useless, it makes a good back up weapon for a sniper due to it's smg...

    The Year 2012...

What i find interesting is the amount of people that get really excited/obsessed about the idea of the apocalypse or something, a lot of people seem to want it to happen rather than them dieing and the world passing them by. I guess it's the desire to see everything and not miss out.

    NASA sts UFOs

those ufos are 'bits' close to the camera, when thrusters are used all sorts of little particles of ice etc are blasted around, there are constant thrusts to keep the craft stable so if bits seem to moving from different directions then that is why.

Should people with serious genetic defects be mandatorily sterilized?

Like i said, if they can care for the child themselves, properly without it suffering they are not being selfish, as it is taking from their resources and the child will hopefully have a 'good life' and possibly serve humanity well. If that child was concieved with the knowledge that it was...

Should people with serious genetic defects be mandatorily sterilized?

Nature did a good job of 'sorting the wheat from the chaff' before we started care systems and the like, the effect is still there but in many different ways, it's cerainly not as powerful a force today. You have to ask, who decides what should be 'allowed' to breed/live? A lot of severe...
