    Upgrading Parts - Opinions wanted

Righto, let me start by stating that I'm in the UK, so dealing in pounds here. As a graduation gift to myself I've decided to buy myself a new computer (well almost, keeping psu/case/monitor). Starting with a budget of ?500ish, with potential to go up to ?700 only if it's really worth it. After...

    Moving to Oxford (UK)

Probably best to listen to sulks about the music scene, never really got into it growing up there. Greater/Blackbird leys. Icky place, lots of chavs :P I grew up (1-10) on iffley road which is quite quiet but still near enough to cowley for shops, etc. (The suburban structure of oxford is...

    Creative MP3 players suck ass

I have a zen v plus which is the replacement of one that broke last summer, the only major gripe i have with it is that the screen scratches so easily. Looked into getting a case style thing but didn't see any good ones so just resorted to keeping it in a separate pocket to my keys

    Help! My right ear!!! blarghh

I had this happen the other week, my housemate who'd had it last year said you have to put drops in (virgin olive oil can work as well) to loosen it up then normally get a doctor to syringe it out, mine simply went away later in the evening though, pulling my ear lobe down seemed to help :P

Is Music Really getting worse? discuss..

While I can't comment that well on where the music industry is heading, you do seem to be forgetting there was an awful lot of crap in those decades too, we just forget about them and pick out the good stuff. In the UK we have/used to have a program called Top of the Pops 2 reminding us of this :P
