Evening. Can someone explain to me the exact use of a cubemap, I cant find a clear answer anywhere, but may be its just me. I understand the basics of it but couldnt clearly explain it to anyone. Do you need 1 cubemap for each brush you want to have a reflective surface?

ok thanks. I am aware of the 3rd party progs to view bsps but it reads as if you can view valves vmfs. Oh well. Would have been a fantastic insight on level and entity design/work.
