    It's all about Chi Power...

They're not making people do anything. You can preorder it or not or wait for the demo or not. It's entirely up to you.

    It's all about Chi Power...

So it's like a platformer type of thing in that there's an actual game with levels? What about simply sparring against AI opponents? That's what I was looking forward to, and I will be a little disappointed if something like that isn't in the game.

Beta Version of Updated Steam Interface

I don't understand why people keep criticizing it as "bulky". You can collapse the window down to something no larger than the current "My Games" menu.

Beta Version of Updated Steam Interface

I like it. It seems sleeker and better laid out, and the new look I find attractive. I'm also happy that the only games that show up in the "My Games" window are games that I actually own. Overall, a welcome change.

The Lost Coast to ship at the "End of October"

Wow. That's really short. Then again, it's only $12 so I guess we can't complain too bitterly.

    AnandTech explores High Dynamic Range

Your framerates are cut in half on a 6600GT? That's news to me as I have a 6600GT (AGP even), and I'm getting excellent framerates comparable to what I get in Half-Life 2 and Counter Strike: Source.

Day of Defeat: Source is Released

Valve did a nice job as always. I had no problems with unlocking the game or joining servers (technically speaking, anyway; it's rather difficult to find open slots at the moment). I have to say, I'm already hooked no HDR. It makes the game look so natural and realistic! After playing DoD:S...

    Rag Doll Kung Fu Screenshots

It certainly looks intriguing, and the price is right. It's time for gamers to put their money where their mouth is and reward innovative and original games that don't pander to the lowest common denominator.

Battle Grounds 2 version 0.14 Released

Seems very buggy at this stage (what else would you expect from version 0.14?), but it's still great fun. I really like the feel of the game. Nothing quite like frantically reloading your single-shot musket while an enemy soldier is charging your way! I'm going to be keeping my eye on this one.

Ask Vivendi. They were the ones handling packaged distribution.

Half-Life 2 Silver through Steam: the best deal in gaming.

Day of Defeat: Source Pre-loading Now

Good thing you have a couple of weeks to preload it then, eh?

    Dystopia Demo Released!

Yeah, there are some minor variations, but it's nothing drastic, in my opinion. In fact, it plays a hell of a lot like UT2004's "assault" mode which itself was pretty straight forward. I suppose folks see words like "cyberspace" and start over thinking which can lead to confusion.

    Dystopia Demo Released!

I can't understand why people find the game confusing. It's pretty standard deathmatch.

    Dystopia Demo Released!

Yeah, just like every other multiplayer FPS. Honestly, I don't see anything in Dystopia that really distinguishes it from the crowd.

    Dystopia Demo Released!

Just finished playing a rew rounds. It's O.K. The cyberspace stuff is an interesting idea, but Dystopia is really just another deathmatch game.

    Dystopia Demo Released!

Before everybody gets too excited, I'd like to point out that the final release of Dystopia may not be free. From the official site:

Half-Life 2 to Hit Arcades in Japan

I doubt it will be the PC version of Half-Life 2 in an arcade machine. Most likely it will be a game called "Half-Life 2" that will bear a passing resemblence to the PC version but will be more suited for the arcade environment.
