The Witcher 2: Assassin's of Kings

In the words of my land: stary, nie ch?do?. http://www.wprost.pl/ar/117243/Sapkowski-nie-gra-w-Wiedzmina/ Sapkowski liked it, though he was sarcastic about the amount of swordplay. As for the striga: one of the cornerstones of the Witcher universe, reinforced in the game and the entire...

The Witcher 2: Assassin's of Kings

"Low" bar? Seriously? As an adaptation of the original Witcher short story it's brilliant, as is it's technical quality. What's bizarre is you praising a noticeably technically inferior cinematic, while at the same time smashing the intro, which has much higher production values. And it's not...

When it comes to Morrowind, I consider it much more varied in terms of colour than Skyrim. If one stops playing at Seyda Neen, then sure, it's brown as ****. But Vvardenfell is much more than that. The Ashlands, Azura's Coast, holdings of individual Houses, Vivec etc. have very varied colouring...

'1999 Mode' announced for Bioshock Infinite

I feel very, very old when good, varied, well developed gameplay has to be put in the game as a separate mode, with a retro tag applied. I didn't want to say it, but... the Age of Retards is upon us.

MPAA on SOPA blackouts: "irresponsible, a disservice to users, an abuse of power."

So you've lived in Europe long enough to make such asinine statements? Enlighten me as to why a nation with a concentration camp, NDAA and the Patriot Act that made war upon other nations pretty much unprovoked is better than my continent. Please

Mossad target and kill Iranian university professor with motorcycle bomb

Yeah, Stern, the Jews did it. Also, this is the first time I heard of reusable magnetic bombs. WHAT HAS SCIENCE DONE.

    S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Not really cancelled

According to a recent news update on the Official S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Facebook page, GSC Gameworld's crew is very happy. Why? Because they will resume work on S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 after the holidays. http://www.nma-fallout.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=938289#938289

    :V :V :V :V CORGI SURVIVES AVALANCHE :V :V :V :V

Indeed, Corgis are the only reason Earth hasn't been scorched clean by alien species yet. As for the original article, maybe the corgi survived because dogs are domesticated wolves and one of the sturdiest, deadliest and most stubborn sons of bitches on the face of the Universe?

    Scientists creates Supersoldier ..

-1 for using shitty adaptation screencap. +1 for using awesome standalone, not related to Robert Heinlein's book, movie screencap.

X-COM: Enemy Unknown remake in development at Firaxis Games

This would be bad if this was a real-time game, necessitating to dumb down gameplay and features to fit the controllers. X-COM is going to be a turn based game, though, so they can make it as complex as they want.

Dude strapped bazookas on a 700lb airplane and blew up tanks in WWII

While I was born in Poland, educated in Poland and continue to live in Poland. Which is pretty shitty most of the time, though has some boons, like not having to pay for education (unless you can't make it to the top two or three hundred on the recruitment list, then it's a different matter)...
