try using cannonsfodder it'll make things lots faster and easier...

-Download cannonsfodder
-go thru step 2 untill the qc file
then one's you started it up -> model compile and there you go :)
yea it f*cks up some of the places where the leak is :P
sometimes it will make some things wont work or instead it wont compile it
^^ avoid the leaks and make sure when your making the outside walls that there is no leak.
xbox uses the same files..
even the pc version is configured for xbox

First learn the basics...
click the npc one's and press Alt+Enter on your keyboard and take a look there
these flags simply provide premade scripts how they react on everything:
so now go and play with it and maybe you'll learn the basics on your own,
like i did i started with maps for HL1...
too bad i don't have an copy of portal,
- but you got the same filename + file extension.
- in the correct folder and mod directory.
maybe there are more than 1 copies of the sound, you could check that.
