Not really. I'd say MOST double-barrel shotguns these days are under-over models. It's what bird hunters traditionally use. In the movies, you see many more side-by-sides just cause they look more badass, and it's easier for the non-gun-firing public to tell that it has two barrels.

You don't need the buggy at all, and the fastest way through Water Hazard is to keep the airboat up until the point where
Not to say the game isn't hard if you do it that way, but that certainly is the fastest way found so far. :)
Like I said in one of the other threads, I didn't cry my first playthrough, but I have every time since. The first one I think I was just in too much shock.
I play HL games on Normal the first time through, cause I'm there for the storyline, mainly.
On Achievement runs, it's Easy for me. Ain't no way I could punt that Gnome down the road with anything but Easy; the chopper was shredding me to bits.
On second/third/whatever, I play on Hard.
Exactly what limitations are there that you speak of? If you're referring to the fact that Crysis stresses hardware better, that's just cause of the way they programmed it. I'm sure that if Valve wanted to, they could make Source run at 10fps on an 8800GT.
Easy. While looking at the broken Citadel, jump over the side of the cliff. That's where most of the deaths are.
Though they say you can drown in just an inch of water... ;)
Impulse 101 during HL2. You can then crowbar Lamarr.

I'm 22, and my first FPS was Doom. What I'm saying though, is that people like you and I are the exceptions. Out of four people I know who have played HL2 for the first time within the past four months, none of them have played HL1 yet.
But how many people under the age of 20 have played it? Unless you played it back in the day, it's rare for people to pick it up now.
Think about this one: outside of hardcore Valve fans, how many gamers nowadays have played HL1? Honestly, not many. Quite a few people I know who own HL2 or...
Just finished my second playthrough last night...
The first time I was just too much in shock to have any sort of emotional reaction to the ending. The second time? I'm not afraid to admit that I got a bit teary. ;(
