Heard lots of good stuff about battle royale. I saw the DVD in a shop, but it looked rather like another bad japanese b-movie to me (didn't know about the movie then). Ahhh, just watched it yesterday. It came out in movies 4 days ago... I'm impressed. Far better than all matrix crap out there (and YES, you can compare it in a way). And the soundtrack was absolutely fantastic. By far best use of non-classical music themes I ever saw in a movie.
