got the same problem, i've bought the game and went home to play it upon inserting the disc in the dvd player it wanted to play but it couldn't somehow... so i thought this was a bad copy or something similiar so i've brought it back and got another copy... same process happened and i still...

yup, i've got a Geforce 4 ti 4200 128 mb i i'm pretty sure that it's going to work good on hl2 if you know what i mean ;)
