Ok i can make normal sprays and get them to work ingame, just cant get them to be transparent, now i am using photoshop 5 so i cant follow the guide exactly, but if anyone could help me.. even do it for me let me know, i only need the tga file created, i can do the rest.

Most people with 9800pro's are fine it seems, the fact u havent updated ur vid card drivers probably got a lot to do with ur low fps, im currently running 4.8Cat.

Yea ive read it.. Doesnt prove ur point. Running Cs in lower settings will give u more fps thats obvious... its the setttings u chose to run at as well as ur hardware which dictates the fps..For example i have 2 machines.. 3.0ghz p4 1024 pc3200 9800 pro 128 mb 70-120fps 1.6ghz 1024...

Once i got it to work i was very impressed, had to sort out my refresh rate, and acctually connect to a server but once i did WOW. I think its alot better than 1.6/1.5, not just because of the graphics, but the all round feel of the guns and damage etc, really fun. It really is the best...

Seems like their resetting their content servers.. or there just going down.. Maybe cs:s is closer than we think, or maybe there just getting it ready before they go to bed lol.. 12 hours later

It'll be interesting to see how much bandwidth is used in he preload.. they must be expexting alot of traffic as their bw is as high as its ever been.

Ill be running it on 1024x768 No AA, No AF. And with a p4 3ghz ht, and 1gb of Corsiar pc3200 im hopeing not to go below 60fps.. heres to hopeing anyway.

Are there any people who arent having problems with the 9800 pro?. If most are getting artifacts on stock setting i think its awful. id should have sorted compatability issues like this out long ago.. also many people dont have a clue how to overclock/underclock, and they shouldnt consider this...
