I'm thinking some of this technology could make it into the upgraded half life 2 + episode 1 that valve spoke of in their update for the 360 and ps3. That would totally kick ass playing all the games with that level of quality.

I think considering this was a 4 hour game, the intro parts and such were more than plenty of those non combat moments.

Actually there is a really bad error i cant believe the developers let in the game. One of the thunder sound effects that they used at the end of the game was thunder during the rain. Of course it was not raining, so every time i heard the thunder with the rain in the background i just thought...

Only problem i had was during the train stalker sequence there was an odd sound distortion that made crackling noises sometimes. Might be because i had hdr on and it couldnt handle it, but my fps wasnt that bad so i dont know. Other than that it didnt crash or anything.

When those ships come near you and alyx, your head starts to hurt and you see this weird distortion effect. In the citadel we saw this and then as you are escaping and all the ships start to escape the building you see it too every time one passes over. Also i noticed two lone laser beams...

Took me around 4-5 hours judging from my start time at 1. HDR looked amazing. I wish hl 2 had hdr. Its worth it though. The ending was sweet, and so was the beggining. Really impressive.

They put a freaking large spoiler screen right at the top of the page that reveals how the episode probably starts.
