Yeah, Lolcomputer. There was a bug in the game which caused it to crash after registering the game complete. Annoying that I didn't notice until today, but it's been fixed now.
It registered your game, but looks like it couldn't get your statistics. Here ya go: http://www.projectblueroom.com/76561198013401249
It's not dynamic yet. At the moment it's static throughout the game, but every time you start a new game it assigns you a different (random) difficulty. It may...
It looks like the server is timing out waiting for your game to send it messages. The time-out on the client is about 1s, and on the server it's 800ms, which is quite a long time. You're based in the southern hemisphere, right, KA?
Edit: I've increased the server time-out to 1s, KA. Try it...
Glad you liked it, Lolcomputer (even if it was surprising ;)).
Sorry about any issues with the server. It's running on a semi-dedicated machine, but it wasn't built to run as a server unfortunately. What issues did you have specifically?
P.s. You should try it on a harder difficulty; 23% is...
If you guys could review it on ModDB, I would really appreciate any attention the game gets. The more people that play, the better chances my PhD has :)

I've had to take it down. Sorry, guys. We have to rework one of the levels which is currently much too hard.
It will be back up again after the weekend. Thanks to everyone who's played so far.
I don't know how I'd categorise it. It's a research mod, designed to test your abilities. It's not story-driven. I suppose a lot of the mechanics are reminiscent of Half-Life 2.
Also, congratulations to GamerDude27, the first person to complete the game.
Hello hl2.net ValveTime.net. It's been a while.
I've spent the past few years attempting to do a PhD, and as a part of that, I've designed a short experiment in the form of a Half-Life 2 mod. If you're interested, and anyone's actually still around here, I'd really appreciate it if you guys had...
I'm looking to show a text message in Hammer with a hint, e.g. "Press Space to jump." I'm wondering how to get the player's current key bindings for a key.
How do they manage this in the HL2 games? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
My Grapphire 3 XL has just broken. After about 6 years of good service. Will be looking to buy a new tablet. Saw a Bamboo in a store today. Haven't read anything about it, but it also has touch input.
Used my housemate's Intuos 3 for a few hours after it broke, and it was disappointingly...
Even at long range it doubles the time it takes to get back under cover. For a class like a scout or pyro, who can't do much damage from anywhere but close range, it's ridiculous. Have to get close enough to hit him, but if you're spotted, you're dead. There's almost no chance of running away...
Snowed yesterday. Deep enough to play with, but we got a lot less than most parts of the country. Half of the staff are apparently snowed in in some form or other. Might pile the snow in front of my gate so I don't have to my seminar.
It's true. And depressing. Had a fifty minute argument with a group of people because they didn't believe there was a comma between 'Hello' and 'world'. Gave up when I realised they were arguing for the sake of it, and it was like ten against one.
