somewhat, it's VERY laggy and you end up flying off. other players see you floating a few feet behind the vehicle. What were they thinking.

All it's about is air combat because ground combat is pretty weak in that map and stinger emplacements are in crappy places.

I unlocked the DAO, G36C and I can't decide what I should get for my 3rd, G3 or M95...I never play either class but I can't decide which I would actually use for shits.

Definantly your pc then, don't point the blame because it isn't working. Theres something wrong on your end when you patch to this new one and it still doesn't work, format your pc and just install new drivers,etc. Don't put any stupid programs on it, it should be fine then.

ive decided i hate Wake 2007 too, and actually, come to think of it, the patch aint that great. THese new ranks are rediculous- every tom dick and harry is now master gunnery sargeant major of the corps, with al the bloody unlocks and no idea how to use them. I now have all the unlocks except 1, which gives me no incentive to play much anymore, except for badges and ribbons which mean nothing.

GG EA, you've ruined what little good there was in the game.

No im being a bit harsh, the names for who is in your vehicle are good, the improved AA, the disembark to capture rule etc, i suppose are all good, Wake Island 2007 just sucks.

And I hate it when people say that having all the weapons is ruining the incentive to play more. The only way to get the higher ranks was to go on a BF2 binge or play for the next 5 months. Having most of the unlocks now breathes so much more life in the game for me.

the only thing that happened rank wise was that they made the ranks actually feasible to achieve.

before this patch you would have had to play for like 12 years to reach the highest rank, thats not even including any of the more expensive ribbons, medals, and badges along the way.

I've just been hearing people say that all day, but I wasn't singling you out.

The rank requirements were HIGHGHIGHGIHGIHGIHHIGHIGHIGHIGHIGHHG. I felt like I would still have to be playing when I graduate high school, and still won't have half the medals.

I don't care about the ranks. What just pissed me off, was having a large portion of the game still unusuable for so long, because I couldnt unlock the weapons on most of the servers. In fact, since buying the game the day it came out I only unlocked weapons today. Granted, I stopped playing for a long time, but still.

This is fun, I have over 20,000 points...and I've played for a bit, got around 1,000 extra points today...no unlocks D: I'm still the Seargent or whatever.

This game hates me

Some people said you need certain medals or whatever to continue..but the fact that I've got all the basics + a couple vets + alot of ribbons...yeah..that's not it.

damn, BFHQ is damn slow now, it hasnl;t updated at all since I gained one rank yesterday... so it keeps showing me as a Corporal with no XP toward the next ranks, even though I've been playing a fair bit... maybe i'll get lucky and when it updates again i'll gain another rank

I was trying to shoot down jets that kept owning everybody, when I see a smoking Cobra moving from the western edge of the southern fork of the island towards the mini-island that has the artillery (going left to right on my screen). hmm yeah, maybe 2-5% improvments. Everything runs smooth and the new vehicles sound is perfect

Btw, that reminded me about when I was playing Desert Combat (more than a year ago). I was driving around in a tank being bombed by an aircraft fighter.
When he flew over me for the 2-3'rd time I just turned up the gun, aimed pretty careless and shot. I couldn't see him as he was covered behind the fog. About 3 seconds later it stood "Fast[M1A1]The flyboy", and he just "Bullshit!".

Oh, man... It was so fun.

I have been piloting a helicopter, and only had like 2 rockets left on my 'clip' so i aimed away from people and fired off the last two. Tk'ed 2 people in what i believe was a tank.

Now i always aim way away when i unload.

I took down a JSF fighter today in my MEC atk chopper...that was the high point of some really shitty rounds. I have met nothing but complete morons in servers today. I also had the wrong team color bug and tk'ed a guy 3 times when he was in a vehicle with my chopper before I realized he was on my side (he only punished the 3rd so I was like, wtf...then found out I was the idiot)

Lots of crappy, blind gunners are on these servers, some guy kept shooting at an empty apc that a guy had just fled to run for an AA site, I swing around trying to get him before he gets there with rockets but no dice. I pull up and away ready to drop flares when I'm hit by a suicider jet pilot.

Damn, is it me or have the Bradley become a real killing-machine now? It’s ridiculous easy to kill soldiers with the cannon now. And choppers go down pretty easy too, even if you don't shoot with the rockets. Seems like Dice upped the damage of the cannon pretty much.
In one round I killed 30 guys (including soldiers and choppers) in total with only the Bradley.
