so i updated my BIOs and now i look into system info it says i have a 1.10ghz but im really suppose to have 2.2ghz. How i change this back!

Try going into the BIOS and selecting the option "Load Optimized Defaults". That would fix the problem for my old computer.

Load Optimized Defaults
^ i dont see that..

btw-I can tell my computer running slower now and i dont like it,lol

all i see in there is

Load High perofrmance defaults

and

Load BIOS setup defaults (i tried this but doesnt make it default..just stays same)

What CPU do you have? If you have an Athlon then FSB or System Bus probably should be at 200MHz.

If in bios it says 2.2GHz but in Windows it tells you 1Ghz and you have an Athlon 64 then go to Display Properties/ScreenSaver/Advanced and put the Power Scheme to Always On.

I have a..

AMD AthlonXP 3200+ 2.21ghz
1gig RAM, 160 gb space
ATI Radeon x850
WinXp, 6 fans inside, 400 watt Antec psu.
my motherboard is a KT6 Delta MSI-6590 (v2.X) ATX Mainboard

btw whats fsb

In BIOS do i go into "DRAM Timing Control" than "SDRAM Frequency" ? and than set it?

On my bios there is a control called 'CPU Speed' with three different settings.

I have an Athlon XP 2600+

Check what the default voltage, multiplier and front side bus values are for your cpu then go into the bios and look for the place where you can change these values. It should be called something like CPU Configuration or something similar. Hope this helps.
