Damn FilePlanet needing paid subs!

FileFront @ 50k/sec

Tell me how it is cyber, I may want to play with you again if its good. :)

wtf 10kbps :flame:

Anyone have any better mirrors?

Edit: On a side note, a few days ago I updated my BF2 from 1.12 to 1.3 using the big patch (not incremental), but when I loaded the game in the bottom corner it still had 1.12 written there? Everything played fine though.

some people were arguing about Road to Jalablabber not being in the release..well, it is.

Im going to sleep though. 11:30 AM, and I'm tired. I'll play when I wake

lol, tell me if its stable and lag free

then I might play again :p

Connection dropped on me so goin for it again now

Dling from fileplanet at 720 and climbing. <3

It seems that the biggest things there are the new level, the browser and and prone>crouch thing.

D/loading right now.

This topic reminds me of the feature in PCGamer about games sounding more fun before they were patched because of the list of bugs fixed in the readme :D

Downloading.

The prone->crouch thing better be a proper fix, stopping the groundhumpers.

Was playing a nice bit of Jalalabad....then BOOM!

'There is a problem with your connection'

ROFL. Why can't that fix that? It's annoying...

And another thing, when I join the Karkand SuperServer (UK) and it comes up with Join Game, it crashes to desktop WHICH IS BLOODY IRRITATING, especially considering that the server is almost always full...

99% now anyway...

Well looks like I won't be installing that patch. :)

/me goes back to playing CS:S

It's @ 120 kb/s at filefront. This will take a while. Soon I will hopefully be able to play BF2 again, for the first time in six months.

It seems to run smoother :D

Wow, quickest load time EVAR! ~30 seconds and that was the first time I loaded Road to Jalablahblah.

Then I Got kicked for high ping since my roomate is P2Ping. at least I didnt crash. :D

Veterans also receive an exclusive in-game indicator of their Veterans status and a special verbal taunt in BF2 together with patch 1.4.
Well here is hoping that Dice gets it right this time. *Cringes :x

Sorry for double posting but it won't let me edit. It looks like the patch basically is a game in itself though. :x

It took me about 20 minutes to download via filefront.

I'd try it out tonight if I didn't have two projects and three tests to work on :(.

I dunno if it's the patch or Jalalabaad but loading is much faster for me and I haven't gotten any lag/performance spikes like I did pre-patch. I also ranked up :D

the prone/crouch delay failed. You can still ground-hump your way into gheyville.

The vehicle on roofs thing is REALLY funny the way they stop it. If you move the "drop vehicle" icon over a building, it's a red circle. lolol.

And since the only map I"ve played is Jalablahblah, I'm not sure if it's just the map that loads fast, or if they actually fixed it?

I'm very happy, I don't have anymore horrible stuttering that 1.3 brought on. Jalalalawl isn't bad, but armor and snipers rule. I've yet to try the no vehicles mode but I'm sure it'll be a nice change. All in all, good so far. :)

Meh, not a bad patch. Jalalabad is nice, I dont think I will play Inf only though. Seems to load a bit faster for me too.
Firing delay after proning is bad, its going to take some getting used to. And, from what Ive heard, they didnt fix some of the big glitches, like the red bug, CTD and server crashes.

I just played the new map and I hate it D:

Has the karkand Hotel glitch been fixed?
Have jets been nerfed?
Is blair still president of the united states of kingdom?

I wish GameTrailers hosted patches, it's the only place I can regularly get 500kBps on :(

Took me 4 hours to download off filefront.

Technically yes. They prevented cars being dropped on roofs.
There was no touching of the air assets.
He was assasinated by a groundhog.
