^This. TFC is fun but it's just too... crude. The classes and weapons aren't very different, and, though it has a lot of interesting gameplay, it just boils down to TFC beasts like Pesh and Seid doing all kinds of shit and killing you seven different ways at once (and each of the seven ways has 4 different grenades), when you've just jumped in and know the basics and want a good time. I still love TFC, but it will never near TF2 in my heart.

That's basically what good servers were; really skilled players doing all sorts of crazy shit to each other. Newbs beware.

TFC was every fps gamer's wet dream when it came out. CTF, fighting from fortified bases, nice guns, bunnyhopping, class roles, deathmatches, good graphics, awesome style, online, teamwork. Most people just don't appreciate the awesomeness that TFC brought to the world of gaming - ANYMORE.
