1 or 2 Minors and Suggestions

The Minors:

1) When you hover the mouse over the edit button it says, "Edit/Delete Message" When editing is only available.

2) The Advertisements at the top of the page can be scrolled with the mouse wheel.

3) Some times if you post in a Topic, leave the site for an hour or two, come back, there is a new post in the Topic but its still marked as read.

4) Some times if you post in a Topic, leave the site for bit or view another part of the site, go back(or just after you post) the Topic is marked as "New Posts" even tho you were the last poster.

5) Post Icons and Message box appears to be off center.

6) "BlueBird" and "Default" colors seem to alternate between them selves.



The Suggestions:

5) Cash machines should dispense coins.

6) Avatars should be copy protected to prevent theft.

7) When you edit the post you just made the "Last edited by ?????? : Today at ??.?? ??" should be instant.

8) A BIG maybe. Marquee should be allowed on signatures.

9) Another BIG maybe, and I will probably get shot at for this. A forum/Topic dedicated to script code.

With exception to the adverts, all of the 'minors' are to do with the forum software version, and aren't our fault. Six seems to be an issue on your end, though.

It's FAQ for a reason, the A doesn't stand for "and", it stands for "asked". Frequently Asked Questions.

Marquees on sigs would be madness and REALLY annoying. How can you read a post with all this moving crap distracting you? They are even worse than image sigs.

A small section dedicated to scripting would be neat.

I don't think there's much I can do about that but I'll look into it.

Sounds like a cookie issue. Try clearing your cache and logging in again. A newer version of vBulletin is being installed tomorrow so that may help your problems.

Rant forums tend to encourage a lot of spam and agressive behavior which I don't feel is acceptable for this community.

This would make any reply/edit pages half a mile long with the smilies listed. If you prefer I can install a hack so you can customise the few smilies you have on your quick add listing so you can just have the ones you use.

Using what method? There's not really much point to be honest. If anyone has any problems with avatars then they can give me a shout.

We can't even get more than two user titles... none of that is going to happen.
The only way the site would be customized is if it was owned by a computer nerd (Like most of the ppl that visit here) who would find it fun keeping the site bug free and full of kewl features.

So, unless Munro feels like selling the site and some nerd with a good amount of money buys it, we're all doomed to simply a mediocre forum populated by some really great people

Never crossed my mind. It could be implemented so your post count doesn't gain that extra post for the "give-me-a-higher-post-count". Anyway, at least the other legit threads/topics wont get cluttered with "spam" when people argue, and it would be funny reading people's arguments. :E
