These kids do it because they know they can get away with it. And they get away with it because the moment they are hit/disciplined the paper will be full of 'vicious video gamer beats defenceless children. Ban video games now!'

I have had a 10 year old try to mug me (im 16) He came up to me brandishing a rolled up newspaper and said 'gimme your money'. I said no. He ran off.

What is the world coming to? I have proposed to many people that parents should have to take an IQ test before being allowed to breed. Anyone with an IQ under (say) 100 will not be allowed to have kids, and if they do the kids will be given to more responsible parents and the dumb parents will be fined.

Tough, completely unfair, but I like it.

The problem is society as a whole drugs+poverty create bad parents which create bad kids.

If we were socialist then, their would be NO drugs and poverty problems in the Uk. We could solve the 'problem'.

Socialism breeds poverty. People just sit on the dole, don't work because why work when they can just sit on the dole and live in state provided housing? This ends up getting these chav gangs started, etc. The dole money is used for drugs, booze, etc, since they don't work. It's a downhill cycle.

I don't have any of those problems and have done all of those *well, the GTA wasn't the case, but Wolfenstein was.

I'm sorry, but I'm a fond fan of the "beat your child if he does something he knows he shouldn't have" club. And cartoons?! Are you fkn serious? Cartoons have been around alot longer, and suprisingly, the 20 year old people around here grew up with Tom chasing Jerry and Jerry killing Tom in ALL SORTS OF WAYS..then coming back to life. I was beat as a child, I played Wolfenstein, I went to thse R rated movies *well I saw the scary death movies and such* and I watched those cartoons..I really don't do any shit like that.

I blame parenting nowadays.."Lets ground our child, that will teach him a lesson, oh and be sure to tell him to 'Never do it again' because he won't!"
