I'm new to the graphic arts deal... but I thought I'd share with my fellow HL2 buds

if nothing else maybe it'll boost your ego to see how far you've come from where a begginer is

I hear ya, They are way to sharp and contrast with the rest of the pic, but it's tough getting them defined enough so you can tell what they are with out making them too sharp. I could work on it more but I'm too lazy

maybe you guys will like this one too. Although this one isn't an origional work of mine... I just re-did it into illustrator and added a little flair to it. It's from a biking company called UGP

That last pic is awesome, a lot better than the first just for the style (I love the whole imagery of anarchy, or conversely totalitarianism). But, "lone molester"? "Ebony Mobster" maybe?

I like the second one a lot more. a lot of rhythm/unity opposed to the first one which in my opinion is kind of bland and boring due to the lack of values; but the second one screams movement and gives off this ancient chinese feel.
