2 cards, which is best?

I currently own 2 graphics cards. And they are an XFX GeForce FX5700LE 256MB, and a Radeon 9500 Evil Commando X 128MB.

Which will give me optimal performance for Half-life 2. Since currently I have the GeForce FX5700LE in use and I am not really impressed with the quality.

And my current system specs are:

CPU: AMD Athlon XP 3200+
RAM: 512MB PC3200 DDR
HD: 200GB 7200rpm ultra DMA

I will be buying a new card, but that is still a ways in the future. So I want to know which one will give me the best performance until I can buy a new one. Thanks.

the 9500 will give better performance in HL2, hands down.

Try it and see. . . it takes like 6 seconds to swap out the card.

Ati's generally give better performance with HL2.
Something to do with pixel shading?
