What filters did you use in order to do Oldpaint?

I was sure that someone with the smallest knowledge of photoshop will say something about filters and how that pait one is a cheap effect.

It is not as easy as pressing one button and then photoshop doing all the work for you.

It was a combination of about 4 filters and blend modes.

Then I went on to the part of adding the grunge brushes to give it an old look.

The file size limit on the forums requires way to much compression of the images. Nothing I hate more then pixelation and visual artifacts yuck. Cool wallpapers, did you use an image for the water ripples or some kind of PS magic.

Another thing, I like your website but you should see if any other link colors look better then the gray you have now. To me it just looks a little off but I could be alone on that.

For the water ripple I used a little photoshop magic.

I'm sorry if the links color bug you but I'm not planning on changind the layout for a good 1 month. On the bright side at least the link is working for you, for other people it doesn't ;(

Technowater, very cool liquid effect, hey since I'm here, I noticed on your side those 'plain' wallpapers which were pretty cool, but they had jpeg shittyness, when only one colour, you can use gif, it will keep the exact image, and 16 colours is probaly all it needs, please do that.
