20" LCD=$100

I don't trust Acer at all. Last one crapped out after less than 2 years.

acer suck's there all about value and non quality

I'd wait for Black Friday. You'll be able to find better deals from much better brands.

I think it's an OK deal if you're really on a budget, but personally, I'd rather pay more for a better one. I also agree with TwwIX about waiting for Black Friday or Boxing Day.

I have 2 acers on my desk right now. One is a 22" LCD that is over 3 years old and working just fine. I did have one that broke on me which was also a acer 22". But just because things break on you that doesn't mean they always suck. I've also had a 20" viewsonic that crapped out in under 2 years, I wouldn't say that all viewsonic monitors suck based on that.

I would agree with Virus, better deals out there to be had. If I was gonna spend $100 on a 22" I would pay $70 more for a 24". Many times you will find 22" monitors for around $130.

Go Samsung or LG, you'll be glad you did. I just sold my brother my old Hanns-G 19" LCD and it wasn't even widescreen. Bought it for $119 and sold it for $50 and its about 3-4 years old. My LG 23" LCD is ten times better looking and I get compliments all the time on it

If you're looking for a deal, apparently Asus some good quality, yet inexpensive models.

My 20" Samsung is starting to give out again (got it replaced under warranty a few years ago). Takes about a minute for it to reach full brightness after turning it on. Really starting to consider an IPS panel, since I already have a nice 24" TN panel for gaming. Might go with http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824116421, since it's so affordable for an IPS.

At first I was like, "OOH! 20" monitor and 16:9 aspect!"

But then I was like, "It's 160px wider than my current monitor and uses VGA."

Yeah, won't be buying that soon...
