2005 Ford Mustang GT

These are some of the winners from wednesday night drags at my local track. There are NO hondas, except for one civic on the last link, but there must have been low turnout because he got a 16 second 1/4 mile. All Stock GT's get low 15's. And believe it or not, 1 second makes all the difference in racing. anybody who knows cars should know that

Wow dude I could care less about your local track...All stock GT's should run 14's...now if they can't, they need to learn to drive. I saw a turbo GT get beat by a SOHC turbo civic last week, you know what, thats pathetic...

but then again, im guessing he doesnt know anything about drag racing. what he probably sees is the racing where they clock in your previous time, and whoever is slower leaves first by how much slower they are, so theoretically they should finish at the same time, and its a matter of who has the faster reflexes who wins, so its not always best to compare drags, but actual 1/4 mile times.

No sorry, we actually like more than just imports. More like we get our shotguns out and load them up for some deer. Never said I/E is mustang killers, just said several of them have been beaten down. Want to know a mustang killer? John Shephard. Lose false sense of pride and get a ride in a real car? Oh I bet you couldn't handle my friends 400hp FD RX-7, or better yet 800HP Supra...You get a ride in a real car and get back to me.

Civics are the shittiests cars. I know so many people around here who buy them cut off the muffler make it sound loud and put a cool paintjob on it and say its the fastest car on the road! I cant wait to light them up with the mustang.

Well I mean, you can have a really fast car, but they tend to break more than a stock car...so if you have a daily driver, a civic is great, great gas mileage, roomy, etc..

Yeah I hate that myself, someone I know did that, I went out to autozone and got them a cheap muffler and told them to put it on or I was going to.

youre probably going to ask me to provide detailed examples and direct comparisons, but since i could just make up/exaggerate my claims anyway, and you would naturally assume that i was(based on my limited observation of you in this thread, i could easily be wrong), im not going to.

i will say this much, a late eighties/early nineties rx-7 could thrash an 05 gt.

i highly doubt ill be posting here again, so if youre gonna bother saying something to me, make it good and i might reply.

I will say this much, they made Non-turbo Rx-7's then, and um they aren't as fast as the TII or III's....So an 05 GT would beat it.
