24 - Spoilers Abound

Probably when it usually starts, in January-ish.

I loved Day Four, but I didn't finish Day Five. Meh.

Jan 14th.

As usual there will be 2 hours that night and 2 hours the next night.

I haven't seen the fifth season yet but the first and third were the only ones that were half-way decent. When is season five coming out on DVD?

*****************WTF EXTREME SPOILERS D:****************************

I personally think the show is overrated.

I watched every single season, and all I did was complain about the stupidity on the show.

Elisha Cuthbert played a damsel in distress in the first 2 seasons I believe, and in all the seasons there's so much God damn relationship issues going on in CTU.
That pissed me off the most, relationships interfere with their line of work.
Tony and Michelle were the most annoying couple ever, thankfully they're dead.

And killing off Palmer and Edgar sucked. :|

*****************WTF END OF EXTREME SPOILERS :D****************************

I watched them all, and I must say it is still one hell of a show but a lot of characters that were written out should have stayed spoiler alert (highlight to read) David Palmer, Chase, Tony Almeida. And stupid /illogical story twists occur more and more, example: day 5, after finally having the recording of a conversation between the president and a bad guy about the assasination of David Palmer, it is given to Chloe Jones and erased by some CTU dude, before it was duplicated. With all the techincal possibilities, it wasn't possible to duplicate a stupid recording?

And killing off Palmer

Spoiler tags, please. I haven't seen Season 5, but I knew he died, but others might not.

I love 24. Come Christmas and I hope to own Season 5. Sure, theres loads of faults I can point out, like how predictable that something bad will happen when the clock reaches, say, 19:56, but it's good entertainment and Jack Bauer always makes me smile.

I love 24, absolutely love it. Season 5 was excellent, and I cannot wait for Seaon 6.

****ing hell lucid. Gah, I'll never forgive you.

:p... Hey, I did watch every season though, regardless of how overrated I think it is.

Jack Bauer is a badass character though, I must admit.
And I guess it could be a really suspenseful show at times, I thoroughly enjoyed Season 4.

Actually, I was talking about the BAT-**** INSANE SPOILERS! I don't think it's the shit either but it's still good entertainment.

You'd better watch your back kiddo. :cat:

I wouldn't call it an insane spoiler, but if I didn't know it already then I'd be pretty annoyed as seeing in an actual episode would really shock me, which is one of the elements I like most about 24.

Dude,****** dies in the first minute of Season 5. It's not like it's some huge ending plotpoint

It doesn''t need to be fancy or an end-of-a-season groundbreaker for it to shock me. It's a character that I really liked through the seasons he was in (I forget now; was it 1, 2 and 4?) Had I not already known, I would of watched the episode, saw it, and thought 'Wow, christ. Damn, I liked him' or something along those lines.

This wasn't meant to escalade. I just brought up that spoiler tags should be used for stuff like that, is all.

Umm, I didn't know that any of those people would die. Plus, Almeida is my favorite character on the show (after Nina). I'm going to go cry somewhere.

The thread title should be changed so that it is clear that posts contain spoilers. Spoiler tags should be reinstated, fiddling with colors is not exactly working out..

rofl, he could barely stop himself from laughing when he entered the room, Carlos Bernard/Tony Almeida is an awesome guy
