No because they never actually died. They were just infected with Rage IIRC.
Great movie btw, In The House In A Heartbeat (the song that was on that car advert) rocks.

The answer is no, full stop. This doesn't exactly need a poll.

Zombie-like, but they where not zombies, if you dont understand this then..well you need to understand films better ^.^

theyre not "zombies" just zombie like. oddly enough, this is one of my favorite "zombie" movies. even though the classics are great and i do love them, the realism of 28 days later and the devastation-of-london-feel really appealed to me.

no

Just like someone else said. Zombie like but not zombies.

no but it's a zombie movie anyway

no, the were not technically zombies. real zombies are "the undead"

however, they did exhibit enough zombie like behaviour to classify it as a zombie movie.
(eg, transferance of condition, low level thinking, urge to attack, physical appearance to name a few)

Well, I think they are Zombies, you can't really class them as 'Human'. And to question what's life and what's not, well that opens up a major can o worms.

They're not your daddies zombies, but that wasn't your daddies zombie movie :)

I thought 28 Days Later rocked! I love that movie. They weren't really zombies though.

I absolutely love 28 days later, especially the start.. london, deserted... amazing. Alright, not really zombies but zombie like.... :)

i loved that movie....

it reminded me of shaun of the dead, anyone seen that?

Im surprised so many people liked this movie. I saw it at the theaters a while back and didnt seem to think it was that special. Ill have to rewatch and rethink.

what..shaun of the dead or 28 days later?

28 days later was utter pants. After the first 10 minutes it falls off a cliff in terms of quality. I was so disappointed.

28 days later sucked so hardcore.
it was like a punk/heavy metal rockstar wet dream/ nightmare

Everything except the nude dude at the beginning of the movie, kicked ass.
That military outpost scene was ****ed up though.

Shaun of the Dead, is the best romzomcom ever created :D

The moral of 28 Days Later
Don't trust animal rights activists, they will destroy the world :cat:  :cat:

28 Days Later was a truly great film, but not really meant for the American market

It was the American market that made 28 Days Later the hit it deserved to be, it was really poorly recieved in box office terms in the UK.
I remember when I went to see it at the cinema, it was the second night of showing I think and the place was practically empty apart from me and my mate, the old couple that came in at the start left half way through.
28 Days later is an awesome movie, technically not a Zombie movie, but a great movie nontheless.

My top zombie (or zombie-alike) movies

1) The "Of The Dead" series (Remake of Night Of The Living Dead, Original Of Dawn Of The Dead)
2) Shaun Of The Dead
3) 28 Days Later
4) Evil Dead Series
5) Dawn Of The Dead (Remake)

Ditto.
Frank's Death - Soldiers (Requiem in D Minor) was also really good; a very powerful scene. ;(

Oh and they arent zombies. >_>

I thought it went downhill when they got to the soldiers. At that point it became a bit... odd.

Anyone seen Danny Boyle's first film? A Life Less Ordinary. It was a real dissapointment in the last 20 minutes or so.

shaun of the dead is ubber crap, it was really really stupid, one of those flicks you are embarased to watch. 28 days was great, the part of the millitary had a good point about society, but it was badlly done.

Shaun of the Dead was a good pisstake but hardly a truly memorable film in its own right.

Shaun Of The Dead was fantastic, I don`t see how anyone can`t like it.
Obviously if you go into it thinking it`s gonna be a serious zombie film then your not gonna enjoy it, probably helps if you understand british humour due to it having that same dry wit in places that the office and spaced have.

I enjoyed the end of 28 days later as well, especially the bit with Jim running around in the rain being a complete Psycho.

this movie pissed me off super bad, i expected zombies and all I got was english actors infected with some retarded disease that makes you really mad oh noes!!

How is the Rage virus any more 'retarded' than the dead reanimating? Don't base an opinion on a movie that didn't contain what you expected, it was never advertised as a zombie movie.

If you look at it is the same stuff as zombies just a more original virus. I love post-apocaliptic movies, that's why I love zombie movies, where humans need to stay together and form a new community to survive.

Does rage make them blood thirsty or just make them super pissed off?

It makes them ultra violent, but theres some instinctive thing that causes them to vomit blood at people
