28 Weeks Later Trailer!

Hmmm, now that ive seen the trailer I'm less optimistic. It looks to me like theyve lost the spooky, atmospheric, post-apocalypse tone of the first one and replaced it with EXPLOSIONS! TANKS! GUNS!

I'll still see it opening weekend though, on the basis that its a zombie movie, and therefore worth seeing.

Looks alright. It'll be a good zombie flick. I'll see it.

Looks like it might be good...but it doesn't look like 28 Days Later. Not sure if thats for the better or worse.

this looks awesome!
gonna have to watch the first one again soon

28 Days Later is probably one of the scariest films I've seen - not just for any make-you-jump factors (which are quite scarce anyway) but because it was so atmospheric. The first 7 or so minutes in the deserted London where there is NO sound at all until Jim sets that car alarm off, then in the next five minutes he's stumbling across a church filled with bodies. The way that film is made, it's pregression, it's all amazing.

This looks awesome, too, albiet not quite the same. It'll be entertaining for sure though. This kind of looks like what Land of the Dead was to the other ... of the Dead films.

Trailers don't always give you the exact tone of how the movie will be, so hopefully it'll be decent.

Plus, a Scottish guy's in it.

Well, from the looks of things it looks like there will be two scenarios for most of the film; the outbreak in London, and the 'extermination' of all the inhabitants within the walls, and then Carlyle in what looks like the countryside/house estates, which I think will be the more creepier parts of the film.

I could be completly wrong, but regardless, this trailer in NO way looks anything like the first film except for the obvious reasons like the rage carriers, etc. This isn't a bad thing, I'm all for something different. I don't think it would be possible to pull of what Boyle did in the first again.

You never know, with a bit of luck this could be to 28 Days Later what Aliens is to Alien.

I am very disappointed with that trailer.

The feeling of isolation among a wasteland of psychotics was what made the atmosphere of the first film. No hi-tech weapons or shit. This sequel looks like it's fallen into the old trap of "Bigger = Better"

Saw it when I went to see the hills Have eyes 2, not really impressed. Might be worth seeing though for the violence and action, or to just see what happened after the first film.

First part looks ok, the extermination looks to holywood.
And I'm not a fan of Real Madrid.

I agree. I thought the beginning of the trailer was good, but then it all seemed to go to shit. Still, I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Meh, I generally like my own imagination for this kind of thing better. That's mine main dislike of sequels/prequels and whatnot. It tends to kind of ruin it for me.

Meh, hopefully the extermination part with the lolsplosions, wont be a gigantic part of the movie. It'll probably focus more on the beginning leading up to the recontamination, and than the country side scenes. Hopefully :x

Different Director...
Different Writers...
Yup, it wont be anywhere near as good...

Trailer reminds me of 'Land of the Dead'. Just looks like a generic zombie movie, nothing like the first one.
