with the announced half life2 media coming out during e3 what website do you think is the best place to get the new vids?

i guess i'll just stream mine off of gamespot

I'll probably download off of gamershell, or find any other decent links from bluesnews.

Fileplanet I guess. Gamespy will probably redo last years thing (That one is still on my comp, it's just... So good)

Good point, we should have a sticky during E3 devoted to places to get new info. Vids, photos, interviews, or anything HL2 related for that matter.

The first and fastest mirror I can find, most likely it will be BT, or this site if they get them relatively fast. Rumor has it this site has damn good bandwith ;) I urge all readers of this site who will be at E3 with vidcams to talk to munro before going there, so that this site could host the videos.

I'll get it any way I can.

I find IGN has lots of easy-to-access streaming videos around E3. If I can't read the articles or see the media there, I'll try Gamespot and Gamespy. Then I'll check out Filerush to see if anyone uploads "Insider Only" E3 videos.

IGN is how I got my last set, I'll probably get it from them again.

I would think that Valve will use Steam to post new videos from e3 immediately after broadcast. I would like to think that it would be the last major test before HL2 is released over Steam. If not, I would check here first, then, I guess on to Gamespy/Fileplanet.

IGN.COM
fileplanet.com
gamershell.com
gamespy.com for information

I am sure these forums will be filled with topics to mirrors and links so i'l just check here :) or hang out on irc, am pretty sure links and files will be shared trough irc.

I wsa pl4nn1nk t00 hck4 teh E3 computer system.

Or just wait for eternity

your one of those monks who disconnect from any hl2 media? WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING ON THIS FORUM THEN?! :)

Gamespot, best place to get it. Just E3 is worth the $20 that is for the yearly subscription. They will upload the videos immediately and they'll have live feeds on whats going on at E3.

can you stream the vids at e3 in gamespot if your a basic member?

I will most likely find a link to somewhere from these forums.

But I will try to avoid fileplanet at all costs. Not because I dont like them but because the cues are likely to be INSANE! :O

I shall just check this forum, as soon as its downloadable this place will spam to hell with links.

Gamershell all the way. That Netherlands server is like 100 miles away; always 380KB/sec on that server. Rocks.

probbly like Fileplanet, but if I have to wait in long lines, then Gamespy or IGN or something

I find the best sites to get E3 information is Gamespot and IGN. Very good E3 coverage. HL2 is the first thing on my mind but I am looking forward to seeing alot of things at E3.

Damn Fileplanet and their not-free-bandwidth!
Really, I just search around until I find it on a less known server that won't get as hammered as the normal places. If I fail at that I just bite the bullet and wait in line.

if anyone's looking for a sure fire way to get the e3 vids without waiting in line or paying a subscription fee try either ausgamers or gamershell, or you could just google it and eventually find at least a few sites with good quality e3 vids

thank god for file planet subscription

muahahahaha

has anyone e-mailed game asking if steam will even host the e3 vids close to the time e3 shows them?

Last year I subscribed to Gamespot Complete for E3 and was so impressed with it that I've since kept the subscription, so that is where I'll be getting my E3 info from. They go all-out with coverage, the first broadcast will be tomorrow night actually (Microsoft's Press Conference), hopefully they'll be showing Halo 2 footage again.

Gamershell.com ofcourse. it's totally free, no waiting time, no account needed and alot of fast 1000mbit mirror servers all over the world.

I get like 230kbyte/s with a 2mbit connection :D
