hi

i was wondering which method is best for texturing brushes.

example:
a wall
texture for the upper third
another texture for the middle third
another texture for the lower third

question:
do i need to create an extra brush for every single texture or ar there better ways? if so, what would you recommend?

Thanks for your help !

use decals thats about your only option to makeing one brush other than that you have to creat 1 brush for 1 texture and i reccomend i brush 1 texture

thank you. so 1 texture on 1 brush is standard method? i thought it´d be that way.

I use the clipping tool when I want different textures on one brush... I just clip the brush through the middle (or wherever necessary) and press 'enter' and then apply the needed textures to their corresponding brush.

Thats a good idea, you could also just make the wall in three sections also.

yea it's basically the same... only with clipping you slice the one brush into two (or more) brushes
