Is how long it took for the top of my case to melt and ice cube.

Having no A/C sucks.

Right now I have a huge fan pointed right at my comp w/ the case off while I sweat to post this.

That can't be good...my case isn't even warm...it is cool.

well...when you finish with an ice cube, you're usually left with water...

why don't you go ahead and stick your fingers down there, might give you a zing :p

Well, I am now on a secondary PC that I hooked up. I burnt myself when I touched the gfx card, so I figured I'll wait till my A/C comes back up.

Thought I would post the specs of this 2ndary comp while I have nothing to do.

697 MHZ P3
256 MB SDRAM
On-board gfx and sound

:(

A big drop from a 256mb 9800 and 512 DDR.

Uhh, shit.

Better not have too much expensive stuff in there.

So, first you put water (ok it was frozen to begin with) on your computer, and then you touched the very hot, (Possibly very active?) graffics card?

I didn't leave the cube ON the case, I would put it on there, wipe off the water, and repeat so I didn't fry it.

Well, in total, but I stopped the clock and got 37 secs of actual melting time, and that is all that counts.

how does your case get so hot, or is it only the fact that ac is out?

holy crap!

since when the PCs work whit internal gas-oil combustions engines? :rolling:

WOW, you should probably put fans inside your computer if it is that cold... you are really wearing down the lifetime of your components by running the computer at that temperature.
